Matteo was born in Bormio, in the heart of Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio, where he soon falls in love with Nature and he begins taking the first photos. After 18 years, he moves to Rome and he attends several courses, basic, intermediate and advanced, at Centro Sperimentale di Fotografia. He learns a lot, from the basic notions to the most complex techniques. He spend lots of years trying to understand what his real photographic style could be. The turning point is a journey to Norway in 2011, when Matteo discovers his passion for naturalistic photography and his fascination with travelling, above all in the North of Europe. He loves taking photos of wild fauna in its natural environment and landscapes that have not been contaminated by human beings. Matteo aims to immortalize, through a click, a moment, a detail or an emotion that time would otherwise delete.
